Who We are
Almighty College of Nursing is college affiliated to, THE TAMILNADU Dr.M.G.R MEDICAL UNIVERSITY, CHENNAI and THE TAMIL NADU NURSES AND MIDWIVES COUNCIL, CHENNAI.
We devote its resources to maintain quality nursing programs in an environment that focuses on clinical competence across all scopes of practice, and that helps develop the technical and thinking skills needed to foster successful careers and a lifetime of continued professional learning.
The nursing programs explore a differentiated practice model that teaches students to maximize their role development, to seek the opportunity to learn and collaborate effectively with other nurses of differing educational preparations.
The programs integrate holistic health care values with traditional health care values so students can explore the understanding of “Whole-body wellness” in client care. Programs are offered to adult students from the economically and ethnically diverse regional community served.

Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility at Almighty College of Nursing is a real home away from home. These principles form the anchor that guides us all every day, Some of the principles are:
- They are always treated with kindness and love but firmly in matters relating to behaviour and discipline.
- No effort is spared to ensure that they are brought up with the highest spiritual principles.
- There is adequate time for work, play and entertainment.
- If and when they require, there is also additional teaching available within the hostel.
- The boys and girls are availed with separate hostels.
Transport Facilities
A full fledged Transport department functions in the college with buses to provide transport facility to students & staff from various places. This service is offered ensuring a hassle-free & safe transportation. The college runs buses for providing transport facility to students from various places in the city.
Sports Facilities
Our College focuses on the holistic development of students. As a sequel to this, equal emphasis is laid on sports and games along with academics. Sports & Games is an area much sought after by the student community of this college. Playground & Equipment for outdoors & indoor games facilities are available for meeting enthusiasm of such students and faculty.
Clinical Facilities
Clinical exposure is an integral part of nursing education. To facilitate this aspect we have Out-patient Departments functioning in the college premises. In addition to that the students are trained in Government Hospitals and established private hospitals in and around Tirunelveli to enhance their clinical experience. And also they are allowed to gain clinical knowledge by visiting various other specialty hospitals.

Dear parents and my dear students,
Welcome one and all. The college is geared by the triple motto of “ABIDE: ACQUIRE: ACHIEVE” to prepare the socially responsible personalities in the multi-cultured society. The students have to Acquire varied skills needed to treat effectively to comfort the suffering humanity by rigorous study and practice their aim to achieve not only a lucrative living but mastery in the science of human health. Our Code of Conduct serves as a compass for how we conduct ourselves every day and help us successfully navigate ethical challenges. It promotes a culture where we are confident that when we raise a concern in good faith, it will be addressed. We are determined to provide the best ambiance for our children with comfortable classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, enriched libraries, dedicated faculties with very good teaching aids,
and associated with Government and private hospitals. The college also provides space for extracurricular activities which help the students to enhance their personality.
